Fruit platter with Spirals
I have get the idae to this platteret from Malcolm Tibbets´s Talking With Wood: www.tahoeturner.com
The Fruit platter consist of 698 individual pieces, and measure 13 7/8 inch in diameter and 2 1/4 inch in height.
And only the feature ring consist of 372 individual pieces.
The bottom in the platter is built up of 5 rings, glued together side by side divided on Scandinavian Birch, Jatooba, Mahogany and Wenge.
Building period: 3 weeks.
